Organisations can be justifiably scared of what their empolyes may say that may bring it into some sort of disrepute. What is it about me that when I'm told no or "do you think you should" I get the urge to say no I'll do it my way!! We had a discussion this evening about what we should or should not post about or put up picks onto sites like flickr. my response was that while I always think about the context and effect the text may have on the reader I will always feel free to post my thoughts and feelings.  Yes a person may find my humor or candor supprising or offensive. but it is reality, it is how I feel and think. I will never go out of my way to ofend. but this is what blogging is about. It is about a more open conversation, one you can choose not to join in.
